University of Virginia dances [manuscript], 1933-1948.

Various papers, fliers, posters and news articles related to U.Va. dances, including Easter's dances and those held at Fry's Spring. Of interest is a "Plan for conducting University dances," 1933, presented by the P-K and German societies concerning the pledging of gentlemanly conduct (absolute sobriety) at all dances; and an advertisement from the Students Clothing Association, 1937, offering Easter Dances tickets to everyone who buys a suit at regular prices.
